Invented brand
The brand
Datum is an invented filament maker in a West Yorkshire mill. Every spool is laser-gauged along its whole length as it winds, and the trace ships with it: 1.75 mm, held to ±0.02.
What I made
- One continuous strand runs the length of the page and purges from colour to colour as you scroll, while a counter climbs to 335 m, the PLA on a 1 kg spool.
- A colour rail you click to change the spool, and print profiles for eleven materials in eighteen colours.
